  • CSUN junior center Dorottya Telek amassed 11 goals, 5 assists, two steals and 12 drawn exclusions to earn The Big West Player of the Week award. It the fourth career weekly accolade for Telek, having won the honor twice last season (Feb. 15, Feb. 22) and once in 2022 (March 30). 

  • The junior started the week with one goal and one drawn exclusion against 11th-ranked LMU. 

  • The Budapest, Hungary product compiled five goals, three assists and drew six exclusions in a 16-9 neutral site win over Concordia. 

  • Telek tallied another five goals with two assists, five drawn exclusions and two steals in a 16-15 road victory over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. 

  • CSUN is 6-3 thus far in its 2024 campaign, and tied fo 22nd in the latest CWPA national rankings. Telek has 39 goals, 12 assists and 21 drawn exclusions this season, and is third all-time in career goals in Matador program history with 217.
