UC Riverside’s Jordan Webster went back-to-back on Big West Player of the Week honors after a milestone week on the court.

The guard from Dallas, Texas, became the 20th member of UC Riverside's 1,000-point club on Thursday with an and-one down low that gave UCR a 46-39 lead over Cal State Bakersfield in the third quarter. The senior finished with a new career high of 31 points in the win and is the first Highlander since Jannon Otto in 2018-19 to record 30 points in a game. Webster also added four steals and 10 rebounds for the double-double in the two-point victory.

On Saturday, Webster poured in 27 points in the win against CSUN. Webster has now reached double figures in 27 of the last 28 times on the court, dating back to Feb. 29, 2023. The only miss came on Jan. 4, 2024 at UC Davis in the Highlanders’ last loss.

Webster leads The Big West in scoring average with 18.6 points per game, and UC Riverside is now riding a five-game winning streak.
