CSUN guard Dionte Bostick averaged 21.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game in two wins to start conference play to earn The Big West Player of the Week award. It is the second straight week that a Matador has won the honor after De'Sean Allen-Eikens earned the accolade last week.

CSUN currently sports an 11-3 overall record with a 2-0 conference record under first-year head coach Andy Newman. It is the best start the Matadors have had in more than a decade. Bostick is currently averaging 16.6 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.
