Whitfield played a season-high 37 minutes and led all scorers with 19 points on 67 percent shooting from the floor and a team-best seven rebounds in a close loss at Idaho State on Wednesday.

Sunday against Southern Utah, Whitfield recorded a double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds to go along with two assists and a block. It was the second double-double of the season for the product of West Hills, Calif.

Whitfield currently leads all scorers in points per game with 21.3, which rates 26th nationally. The forward also currently sits in second in The Big West averaging 8.7 rebounds per game.
