  • UC Santa Barbara’s Briana McKnight was the main offensive weapon for the Gauchos in a pair of UCSB wins to claim a first career Big West Women’s Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week award.  

  • McKnight averaged 4.14 kills per set on the way to UC Santa Barbara defeating Cal Poly and Hawai’i on the road. 

  • The senior outside hitter finished with 15 kills and eight digs in the four-setter against the Mustangs before capping the weekend in O’ahu with a14-kill, 10-dig double-double in the sweep of Hawai’i. 

  • The Gauchos are currently leading The Big West standings with a 13-1 mark in league play, with two weekends remaining in the regular-season slate.
