  • Long Beach State setter Zayna Meyer piloted the Beach to a pair of three-setters to scoop up Big West Setter of the Week for the fourth time this season and third time in the last four weeks. 

  • LBSU hit a combined .349 attack percentage as the squad rolled to a pair of 3-0 sweeps over CSUN and Cal State Bakersfield. The Beach has now extended their winning streak to eight. 

  • Meyer averaged 10.33 assists per set to go along with 1.83 digs per set, 1.33 kills per set on a .412 hitting percentage (8-1-17). In the first match of the week, Meyer finished with 29 assists, five digs, three kills, and two aces. The redshirt sophomore distributed 33 assists, with six digs, and five kills on a .625 hitting percentage (5-0-8) on Saturday.
