  • Cal Poly freshman Joaquin Torres scored a goal in a 1-1 draw at Cal State Bakersfield to earn Freshman of the Week honors. 

  • It was the rookie's first career goal in a game that secured the Mustangs' tickets into The Big West Championship. 

  • Cal Poly concluded the regular season at 5-7-4 overall and 3-3-3 in conference play. The Mustangs earned the No. 5 seed in The Big West Championship and will travel to No. 4 seed UC Davis on Wednesday, Nov. 1 for the first round.
