Zayna Meyer piloted Long Beach State to a .393 team attack percentage as the Beach swept both UC Davis and UC Riverside en route to Big West Setter of the Week honors. This is a sixth career weekly setter award for Meyer, and the second of the 2023 campaign (Oct. 2).

In addition to averaging 10.50 assists per set, Meyer also contributed 2.33 digs per set, 2.17 kills per set, 0.83 blocks per set, and hit an incredible .722 (13-0-18) on the weekend.

The Wheaton, Ill., product started the week against UC Davis with seven kills on 10 errorless swings for a .700 clip, to go along with 35 assists and 10 digs for a double-double.

The next night against the Highlanders, the redshirt sophomore added six kills on eight errorless attempts to hit .750, while also posting 28 assists, four digs, and three blocks.

All told on the season, Meyer is averaging 10.03 assists per set, second in The Big West.
