After redshirting a season ago, Long Beach State’s Clay Seeber started off the 2023-24 campaign with aplomb, garnering Big West Men’s Golfer of the Month for September. This marks the first career monthly award for Seeber.

Competing in two events for the Beach, Seeber recorded top 10 finishes in both and helped the squad to a team title at the Ram Masters Invitational to open fall action. Seeber rolled in 15 birdies with rounds of 70, 68 and 68 to tie for second individually, alongside teammate Jack Cantley. The duo led LBSU to the team victory with a three-round total of 15-under 825, 11 shots better than hosts Colorado State.

Seeber used an impressive 6-under 66 in the final round of the William Tucker Intercollegiate to climb 12 spots on the leaderboard to leap into a tie for seventh. Seeber’s 19 birdies was tops in the field of 104 golfers, as Long Beach State closed the event in sixth as a team, compiling a 9-under 855 total.
