  • UC Davis junior Brianna Weidler placed seventh overall at the Joe Piane Invitational, hosted by Notre Dame, to take home the Athlete of the Week accolade. It is the second straight week that Weidler has won the weekly honor. 

  • It was the second straight top-10 performance for the defending Big West individual champion. 

  • The Temecula, Calif. product clocked 16:33.1 over the 5K distance. 

  • As a team, UC Davis finished in fourth place.
