  • CSUN sophomore goalkeeper Hayden Mauldin helped the Matadors earn two points by compiling 14 saves in two games to win the Defensive Player of the Week accolade. 

  • The Bakersfield, Calif. product logged a shutout in Thursday's 0-0 home draw against UC Davis with seven saves. It was the second shutout of the season for Mauldin. 

  • The junior goaltender recorded seven more saves in Sunday's 1-1 tie on the road at Cal State Fullerton. 

  • With the 14 saves, Maudlin currently leads the conference in total saves with 65 and moves into ninth place in the CSUN record books in career saves with 120.
