  • UC Davis sophomore forward Cason Goodman scored two goals, one in each match of the opening weekend, to help the Aggies to a 2-0 record at the Wolstein Classic against Dayton and Ohio State to start the 2023 season.

  • In the 32nd minute against Dayton, the sophomore forward found the back of the net for the first goal of the game and season, and eventually proved to be the game-winner. The Aggies prevailed over the Flyers by a final score of 2-0. 

  • The Santa Barbara, Calif. product scored the second game-winning goal of the weekend against Ohio State. With the score tied 1-1, Goodman ran down a long ball from UC Davis goalie Charles Janssen and put it away to give the Aggies the lead. 

  • With two game-winning goals, Goodman was named to the Wolstein Classic All-Tournament Team.
