  • UC Santa Barbara freshman forward Olivia Howard netted the first goal of her colligate career in the Gauchos 2-0 win on opening day. 

  • The true freshman opened up the scoring in the 45th minute, finding the back of the net with just one second left on the clock before halftime. Howard also recoreded an assist on the teams second goal.
