• Cal Poly's Kennedy Buntrock won both singles and doubles matches against UC Santa Barbara to earn The Big West Women's Tennis Player of the Week award. Buntrock is a first-time weekly honoree.
• In singles, the freshman downed Marta Gonzalez at the No. 5 spot 6-2, 6-1. In doubles, Buntrock teamed up with Kim Bhunu for a 6-4 win over Camille Kiss and Gonzalez at the No. 2 spot as the duo increased their winning streak to four matches and a 10-5 record on the season.
• As a team, the Mustangs earned a 4-3 win over the Gauchos. It was their first victory at UCSB since 2011 and their first win over the Gauchos overall since 2014.
• Cal Poly finished with a 6-3 conference record, tying for second place and earning the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Big West Women's Tennis Championship.
