• Sutherlin (15-7) started two games in the circle for the Titans and gave up just one run in 13.0 innings of work with 18 strikeouts and allowing five hits and six walks.
• The fifth-year senior right-hander first fanned 14 on Friday, going a complete seven innings and giving up just three hits and two walks for one run. It was the first run that Sutherlin had allowed in 29.2 innings as Cal State Fullerton came away with a 7-1 win.
• Sutherlin went 6.0 innings, allowed only two hits and compiled four strikeouts as the Titans were triumphant 5-0.
• Cal State Fullerton is 27-6 overall and leading The Big West with a 14-4 conference record. Sutherlin has a 15-7 pitching record on the season, boasting a 1.46 ERA with 185 strikeouts in 149.0 innings of work.
• Sutherlin’s prior awards this season came on Feb. 13, Feb. 27, April 10 and April 17. The product of Gilbert, Ariz., is a eight-time career recipient with three selections in 2022.
