  • UC Riverside sophomore Tiffany Le finished the month of March with a pair of top-3 finishes to claim a first career Big West Golfer of the Month.

  • In the first tournament of the month for the Highlanders, Le held the individual lead after round one at the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational before landing in a tie for third on the final leaderboard with 2-over 218. Le rolled in 40 pars at Sunbrook Golf Course and helped UC Riverside to a tie for third in the team standings.

  • Two weeks later, the native of Walnut, Calif., claimed individual medalist honors at the Fresno State Classic. Le was one of two golfers to close the 54-hole event under par after recording a 70-73-71—214 (-2).

  • Le carded 11 birdies in Fresno, including four in the final round. Le jumped two spots on the individual leaderboard, passing Fresno State’s Harriet Lynch and Emma McMyler of Xavier to earn the win.

  • With 11 rounds under par in 2022-23, Le is now tied in the Highlanders’ recordbooks with current assistant coach Jakeishya Le (2016-17) for the most under-par rounds in a season.
