High School Foothill HS Kyle Ashworth slashed .533/.588/.800 in leading Long Beach State to a perfect 4-0 week and garnering a first career Big West Field Player of the Week distinction. The sophomore who played at Santa Ana College in 2022 went 8-for-15 and scored a team-high seven runs to go along with six RBI, a double, one home run, two walks and a stolen base on one attempt.
