  • Garrett Boe led Cal State Fullerton to two team victories in February to claim Big West Golfer of the Month. The individual monthly award is a first for the junior from Clovis, Calif.  

  • At the Orange County Collegiate Classic Feb. 13-14, Boe finished in third place with a 5-under par 211 (69-74-68). Boe was one of three men in the field to play the par 4s under par, averaging 3.90 strokes per hole at the Coto de Caza South Course. On the individual leaderboard Boe trailed two other Big West golfers in medalist Davis McDowell from UC San Diego and teammate Harry Doig. 

  • The following weekend, Boe tied for first at the Joust at Goose Creek on Feb. 20-21. Boe carded a 5-under par 208 (73-68-67), knotted at the top of the leaderboard with Eeli Kujanpaa of California Baptist. Boe led the field with 15 total birdies in 54 holes of action. 

  • For the month, Boe averaged 69.83 strokes per round en route to honors.
