  • Long Beach State’s Hannah Ko recorded a pair of top-3 finishes to claim a second career Big West Golfer of the Month award, also taking honors in February 2020. 

  • Ko hot a 2-under par 70 in a single-round Tri-Dual with CSUN and CSU Bakersfield at Soule Park Golf Course on Feb. 1, taking third individually, one stroke off the leaders and guiding Long Beach State to the team win.  

  • The junior from Fullerton, Calif., then tied for second place at The Beach Invitational at Mission Viejo Country Club to round out the month. On a tough course that saw the winner at 6-over, Ko closed with back-to-back rounds of 74 to finish at 9-over 225, knotted with Colorado State’s Andrea Bergsdottir. Ko was consistent throughout the event, carding 36 pars in the 54-hole tournament, leading the Beach to a fourth-place finish in the 15-team field.
