• Ana Vilcek posted a 3-0 record in singles play, leading Hawai'i to a 2-1 week, to be named The Big West Women's Tennis Player of the Week. Vilcek is a first-time weekly honoree.
• Vilcek started the week with a dominant win over UC Riverside's Kamya Nair 6-0, 6-0 in No. 1 singles. The Rainbow Wahine defeated the Highlanders 7-0 in team competition and moved to 1-0 in conference play.
• Against San Diego State, the sophomore held off San Diego State's 116th-ranked Andjela Skrobonja in No. 1 singles 7-6(3), 4-6, 1-0 (8). In No. 1 doubles, Vilcek and teammate Nikola Holmokova took down the Aztec pair of Rania Azziz and Alicia Melosch 6-3. Hawai'i won the team competition 5-2.
• Vilcek downed 37th-ranked Solymar Collig of No. 18 San Diego 0-6, 6-2, 7-6 (4) in No. 1 singles to complete the 3-0 week in singles competition.
