  • Una Jovanovic averaged 20.5 points and 5.0 assists and played every second of 85 minutes to help guide Cal State Fullerton to two wins, earning Big West Player of the Week recognition for the second time.
  • The true sophomore guard posted game highs of 24 points and six assists to hand league leader UC Irvine both its first Big West loss of the season, and also its first home defeat, 66-64 in overtime on Thursday night. Jovanovic shot 11-of-18 from the floor as the Titans snapped the Anteaters’ conference-best nine-game win streak.
  • Jovanovic added 17 points (4-8 FG, 9-10 FT), four assists and three rebounds in a 69-61 win over visiting Cal Poly on Saturday night.
  • Jovanovic, a native of Santa Clara and 2021 graduate of Pinewood School in Los Altos Hills, is one of four Titans to start all 20 games, and is third in the Big West in scoring (14.8 points per game), as well as second in the league and 13th nationally in minutes per game (36.88).
  • This is Jovanovic’s second Big West weekly honor in the last three weeks, the initial one coming on Jan. 16. No other Big West women’s basketball student-athlete is a two-time recipient thus far for 2022-23. The Titans now lead the league with three awards.
