The true sophomore added a career- and game-best 11 rebounds for a first collegiate double-double, shooting 9-of-14 from the field and making all eight free throw attempts with four assists to also lead all players.
  • A guard from Santa Clara and 2021 graduate of Pinewood School, Jovanovic averaged 18.5 points, 7.0 boards and 3.0 assists as the Titans split the home weekend, providing 11 points, three rebounds, two assists and a block in Wednesday’s 57-39 defeat to first-place UC Irvine.
  • Jovanovic is up to third in The Big West in scoring at 14.9 points per game, behind only Evanne Turner of UC Davis at 15.7 and teammate Fujika Nimmo at 15.0. The Titan starter tops the league with a free throw percentage of .889 (64-72), having drained all 12 last week, and is third in field goal percentage (.406).
  • Jovanovic has started all 15 games thus far for Cal State Fullerton and reached double-figure scoring in all but two, including a trio of 20-plus-point efforts.
  • Jovanovic is Cal State Fullerton’s second Big West weekly award recipient of 2022-23, following Gabi Vidmar’s selection on Dec. 5.
