• UC Riverside guard Zyon Pullin recorded 26 points, five rebounds, two assists and no turnovers in a road win at Idaho to earn The Big West Player of the Week honor, presented by Hercules Tires. It is Pullin's fourth career weekly honor, having won one last season and two in 2020-21.
• Pullin is the second Highlander to win the award this season after Flynn Cameron took home the honor on Nov. 28.
• The Pleasant Hill, Calif. native shot 52.1 percent (12-of-23) from the field, including 50 percent (2-of-4) from behind the arc, for 26 points in 39 minutes as the Highlanders defeated Idaho 76-74.
• With the score tied, 74-74, the senior nailed a step back jump shot with 1.2 seconds left to win the game.
• Pullin is currently averaging 19.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game through nine contests to start the season. UC Riverside is 6-3 on the year.
