The center back in UC San Diego’s traditional 3-5-2 alignment, Meyer played all 180 minutes over the week’s action. The native of Campbell in Northern California and product of Archbishop Mitty High School has played all 1,350 minutes in 2022 after remaining on the pitch for all 1,589 minutes during the 2021 campaign.

Meyer is the Tritons’ first Big West weekly honoree in the sport of women’s soccer, as the program is in just its second season as a conference member. Sunday’s result against Hawai’i marked UC San Diego’s first Big West win and first home victory of the 2022 season. The Tritons moved to a perfect 3-0 all-time against the Rainbow Wahine.
