• UC Irvine freshman forward Agaton Pourshahidi scored a goal to earn The Big West Freshman of the Week honor. 

• After playing 44 minutes against Saint Mary's on Monday, and 36 minutes at New Hampshire on Friday, both off the bench, the rookie got the start against Vermont on Sunday.

• Pourshahidi made the most of the opportunity and scored a goal.
