UC Riverside midfielder Alexandra Hargrave had a three-goal weekend to claim Big West Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

In the Highlanders’ tie with California Baptist, Hargrave connected twice in the 3-3 battle. The first strike came in the seventh minute, and the second successful attempt came in the 14th as Hargrave found the bottom left corner for the goal score. The midfielder tallied four shots on goal and played 81 minutes in the Crosstown Showdown.

Against New Mexico on Sunday, the native of Alta Loma, Calif., again scored a first-half goal, this time opening the game’s scoring in the 19th minute. The Highlanders and Lobos played to a 2-2 draw with both UC Riverside strikes coming in the first half and both New Mexico scoring plays occurring in the final 11 minutes of the contest.
