  • Senior Lena Silano totaled three goals in an undefeated week for Long Beach State to earn Big West Offensive Player of the Week honors for the second time in her career (Oct. 4, 2021). 

  • Silano scored the game-winner against Fresno State on Thursday punching in the penalty kick in the 17th minute to open up the 4-0 victory. 

  • Against San Diego, Silano netted both Beach goals on the night, including a picturesque bicycle kick for the strike in the 88th minute to knot the score at two apiece. 

  • The Agoura Hills, Calif., native ranks as The Big West’s leading scorer with five goals and 11 points this season. The total goal tally is eighth nationally and the 0.83 goals per game average stands in 20th.
