  • UC Davis sophomore Lucas Carper earned Big West Golfer of the Month acclaim for March after capping off the month in impressive fashion, finishing as the runner-up at the prestigious Goodwin tournament hosted by Stanford.  

  • The San Jose native fired a career-best 12-under 198, including a low of 65 in the second round. He rolled in 16 birdies in the 54-hole event, with just four bogies at Stanford Golf Course.   

  • In the Lamkin Grips San Diego Classic to start the month, Carper finished t-38th with an even-par 216.

  • The Aggies finished in the top 10 in the team standings in both events.  

  • This is the first career Big West Golfer of the Month award for Carper, the 2021 Big West Championship individual medalist.
