• CSUN redshirt sophomore Chris Pitts broke the school record in the 400 at the Willie Williams Classic with a time of 46.42 to earn The Big West Men's Track Athlete of the Week honor.
• The 400 time broke the old school record of 46.80, set by Clinton Lane in 1999 and currently leads the conference, fifth in the West Region and seventh in the nation.
• Pitts was also a member of the 4x400 relay team that ran 3:10.75 for second place.
