Voss averaged 2.00 blocks per set, collecting a career-high 12 total blocks, four of them solo, during Saturday’s four-set triumph. The 12 blocks were the most by a UH player in a single match since 2015. The native of Brazil recorded two block assists in Thursday night’s sweep of the Flyers, to go along with six kills on nine attempts without an error (.667). Voss averaged 1.71 kills and 3.14 points per set on .476 hitting in the series. Voss is a two-time Defensive Player of the Week this season (Feb. 7), having also nabbed one such award on April 12, 2021, after three Freshman of the Week recognitions in 2020.
