Anna Maidment Award Pairs Team of the Week Week Of 3/14/2022 Sport Beach Volleyball School Hawai'i Year Sophomore Position Hometown Winnipeg, Canada High School Ninth-ranked Hawai'i went 4-2 to place third at its own OUTRIGGER Queen's Cup, behind only third-ranked and undefeated TCU and No. 10 Cal, with the pair of Anna Maidment and Sofia Russo going a perfect 6-0 on the weekend while playing at the No. 3, 4 and 5 flights. Named the tournament's Most Outstanding Pair, the two Rainbow Wahine posted three of their wins against ranked opposition, beating a tandem from TCU, and two more from Cal. Maidment and Russo won five of their six matches in straight sets, including all three against the ranked foes. They have taken 11 straight contests and are a team-best 12-1 on the season.
