  • Cal Poly’s Elizabeth Scholtes opened up her senior campaign with individual medalist honors to claim her second career nod as Big West Golfer of the Month (Feb. 2019). 

  • After not competing for the Mustangs in the fall, Scholtes opened her spring season with a first-place finish in The Valley Invitational with rounds of 72, 72 and 73. Her effort paced Cal Poly to a third-place finish on the team leaderboard.  

  • She also finished 17th in 'The Show' at Las Vegas, carding a 69 in the second round for her third career round in the 60s. The Alameda, Calif., native also competed in this week’s Gunrock Invitational, where she posted a final-round 72 to finish tied for 45th.
