UC Santa Barbara freshman netter Amelia Honer went a perfect 4-0 in her matches as the Gauchos split a pair of road contests at Loyola Marymount and No. 12 USC.

The match against the Trojans kicked off with Honer and partner Kira Reuter defeating 19th-ranked Salma Ewing and Snow Han, 6-1, on court two. The Gauchos went on to secure the doubles point when their top tandem also won 6-1.

As the match transitioned to singles play, Honor won UC Santa Barbara’s second point of the day with a 6-4, 6-0 win over Sloane Morra from the fourth spot in the lineup. The Gauchos went on to win 4-3 in the hotly-contested battle against USC.

Against the Lions, Honer and Reuter won their doubles matchup 6-4 and Honer went on to win her singles duel over Stefania Rogozinska, 6-4, 6-0. UC Santa Barbara fell 4-3 in the team scoring.
