It is Bjornsson’s first career offensive weekly honor from the league. The Gaucho sophomore scored the equalizer in the 78th minute in a 1-1 draw against then-No. 2 nationally-ranked San Diego, Monday night. On Friday at No. 20 Cornell, Bjornsson found the back of the net in the 69th minute to tie the game. UC Santa Barbara has a 1-1-2 record this season, having played three consecutive ranked teams. Bjornsson has compiled two goals and one assist so far.
