It is Crandall's first career weekly honor from the conference. The Anteater redshirt senior opened the weekend on Tuesday with a 3-for-4 performance, including a career-first home run, for three RBI and one run in a 9-4 win at San Diego. Crandall drove in three more runs and scored once in Friday's 17-5 series-opening victory at UC Riverside. The Ladera Ranch, Calif. native had another 3-for-4 effort with one run scored and three RBI in a 15-3 win in Saturday's game two at UC Riverside. In the final game of the week on Sunday at UC Riverside, Crandall drove in two runs and scored once. Crandall is currently hitting .352 with 15 RBI and 11 runs scored this season. UC Irvine is 23-26 overall and 12-15 in conference play.
