  • UC Davis first baseman Ethan Felix slashed .444/.444/1.444 with four hits, three home runs, nine RBI and three runs scored to win The Big West Baseball Field Player of the Week award. It is Felix's first career weekly honor from the conference.

  • The Aggie redshirt senior opened the weekend on Saturday at Cal State Fullerton, with a six-RBI performance that featured a two-run home run in the sixth inning and a go-ahead grand slam in the ninth that broke a 5-5 tie and powered the Aggies to an 11-5 series-clinching win.

  • Felix followed it up on Sunday with a two-run home run in the second inning of UC Davis's 6-2 sweep-completing victory over the Titans, finishing the day 2-for-4 with three RBIs.

  • The Redondo Beach, Calif. native did not play in the Aggies' mid-week matchups at Stanford on Monday and Cal on Wednesday or the first game of the Cal State Fullerton series on Friday.

  • Felix led UC Davis to its first-ever sweep of Cal State Fullerton in program history, improving to a 12-15 conference record and 23-24 overall. Felix is currently hitting .284 with five home runs, 18 RBI and 11 runs scored.
