Rosenthal averaged 11.38 assists per set in a two-match series sweep of No. 5 UC Irvine. The Rainbow Warriors offense hit a combined .367 in the series with Rosenthal directing the offense. In the five-set opening win, the native of Austin, Texas, nearly posted a triple-double with 53 assists, 10 digs and a career-high nine kills to go along with six blocks. In the rematch, Rosenthal assisted on 38 plays with four digs and four blocks in the sweep where UH hit .453. Rosenthal continues to lead The Big West in assists average, bumping up to 11.01 per set. He is also in the conference top 10 in aces (.333) and blocks (.833) per set this season.
