High School Castro Valley HS UC San Diego’s Miles Bennett won the high jump competition at the Jim Bush Legends Meet to claim The Big West Field Athlete of the Week honor. It is Bennett's first career weekly honor. Bennett placed first in the vertical jump competition with a personal-best clearance of 2.16m/7'1". Currently, the mark ranks No. 2 in school history, No. 1 in The Big West, No. 3 in the West Region and No. 5 in the nation this season.
