  • Cal Poly's Vincent Atilano won two events at the Conover Classic to claim Big West Men's Track Athlete of the Week honor. It is Atilano's second career weekly honor, having won it once last year.

  • The sophomore from Carlsbad, Calif. came in first in the men's 400m hurdles race with a lifetime best of 51.34, the fourth fastest time in school history. It currently ranks second in The Big West, fifth in the West Region and 10th in NCAA, so far this season.

  • Atilano also anchored Cal Poly's 4x400-meter relay to a victory at the meet with a time of 3:14.48.
