Kyle Panganiban Award Field Player of the Week Week Of 3/23/2026 Sport Baseball School CSUN Year Position Infielder Hometown Cerritos, CA High School Gahr HS CSUN third baseman Kyle Panganiban slashed .500/.500/.700 with 10 hits, two RBI and six runs scored in four road victories to win The Big West Baseball Field Player of the Week award. It is the first career weekly honor from the conference for Panganiban. The redshirt sophomore opened the week collecting a hit and a run scored in an 11-9 win at Fresno State, Tuesday night. Panganiban went 5-for-5 with a double and three runs scored in a 5-3 series-opening victory at Cal State Fullerton on Friday. The Cerritos, Calif. product belted a solo home run in a 6-2 win in game two against Cal State Fullerton on Saturday to clinch the series. Panganiban closed the week with three more hits as well as a timely RBI in the ninth inning for a 4-1 Matador triumph to complete the sweep of the Titans on Sunday. CSUN is 14-9 overall and 5-4 in conference play. Panganiban is currently hitting .322 with seven home runs, 24 RBI, 22 runs scored and seven stolen bases.
