This marks Sakanoko’s second career offensive award, and sixth overall weekly nod. The junior compiled 30 kills (4.29 avg.) while hitting .436 along with 11 digs (1.57 avg.), three aces (0.43 avg.) and three blocks (0.43 avg.). Sakanoko posted 15 kills in each of the two matches, highlighted by .440 hitting with five digs and two blocks in the straight-set win to cap the weekend. The Paris, France, native also served up three aces in the opener. Sakanoko currently rates in the top five in The Big West with average of .389 hitting and 3.47 kills per set on the year. The hitting percentage figure is good for 14th nationally.
