  • Leading the CSUN offense to a near upset, redshirt junior Jordan Lucas claimed a first career award as Big West Offensive Player of the Week.  

  • On Wednesday at No. 4 USC, Lucas pounded a career-high 30 kills, the most in the nation in a match this season as the Matadors pushed the Trojans to the brink. The outside hitter hit an impressive .509 on 53 swings along with eight digs, three blocks and an ace in the five-setter.  

  • Lucas added seven more kills in Friday’s match against No. 6 Pepperdine to bring the weekly tally to 37, or 4.63 per set. The native of Hacienda Heights, Calif., hit a combined .477 against the pair of Top 10 teams.
