  • After delivering a season-high performance and win for Long Beach State, sophomore JaQuoia Jones-Brown has been named Big West Player of the Week. This is a second career nod, also earning distinction on Nov. 17 after the second week of the season. 

  • Jones-Brown averaged 23.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists over the two-game stretch, opening the week with a season-high 29 points in a 75–72 win over UC Riverside. The guard shot 10-of-19 from the field (.526), 3-for-3 from three-point range and finished a perfect 6-for-6 at the free throw line while adding six rebounds, four assists and three steals. 

  • The native of Atlanta, Ga., followed with 18 points, five rebounds and two assists at Hawai‘i, again logging all 40 minutes while leading the Beach in scoring.  

  • Jones-Brown currently ranks in the top five in the Big West in scoring (17.1 ppg) and free throw percentage (82.4) while landing on the top line in minutes per game at 37.04. Rarely taking plays off, Jones-Brown's time tally ranks sixth in NCAA Division I.
