• Hawai’i graduate student Amy Atwell averaged 21.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 2.0 blocks in two road wins against Cal State Fullerton and Long Beach State to earn The Big West Women’s Basketball Player for the fourth time this season. She previously won the same honor on Nov. 22, Jan. 10 and Jan. 24, earlier this season.
• Atwell recorded 18 points, five rebounds, one assist, four steals and four blocks as the Rainbow Wahine took down Cal State Fullerton 55-46 Thursday.
• On Saturday, the Australian forward scored 25 points, on 9-of-13 shooting from the floor and 5-of-7 from behind the arc, as Hawai’i defeated Long Beach State 72-64.
