  • After a 2-0 weekend and a pair of 20-point performances against some fierce Big West foes, Megan Norris has claimed Big West Player of the Week. The honor is the second of the season (Dec. 1) and third career nod.

  • Thursday, the Aggies handed UC San Diego their first conference loss of the season, a 66-62 win in La Jolla, Calif. The fourth-quarter comeback was punctuated by 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting (.692) from Norris. The center also added 16 rebounds for the double-double.

  • Two days later against UC Riverside, Norris was an even more effective 8-of-10 (.800) from the floor to go along with three made triples for 21 points to go along with 12 boards. The 13 double-doubles on the year lead The Big West and rank fourth in the country.

  • All told, Norris leads The Big West in rebounding (11.9/5th in NCAA DI), blocking (1.90/35th in NCAA DI) and double-doubles (13/4th in NCAA DI). Coupled with 13.15 points per game, the redshirt senior from Menlo Park, Calif., also stands as just one of 21 players in the country to sport a double-double season average.
