  • Sophomore libero Ryan Pecsok directed held down the defense for No. 6 UC Santa Barbara in a pair of road wins at No. 9 Grand Canyon to earn his first career Big West weekly honor.  

  • The Pacific Palisades, Calif., native set a career-high in digs on Friday, popping up 18 balls and recording two assists in the five-setter.  

  • He bested that number a night later, with a 24-dig evening as the Gauchos notched back-to-back five-set wins, averaging 4.2 digs per set on the weekend.  

  • Pecsok has recorded three consecutive double-digit dig efforts to bump his season average up to 2.04 digs per set.
