The opposite hitter had a dominant week while leading the Beach over UC Riverside and UC Davis, hitting a combined .407 while averaging 3.86 kills and 3.14 digs per set. In Thursday’s sweep of the Highlanders, King put down 11 kills on .526 hitting (11-1-19) with nine digs and a pair of blocks. The product of Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, then led the Beach team that handed the Aggies just their second league loss, finishing with 16 kills on .343 hitting with 13 digs in the four-setter. King rates third in The Big West in both kills (3.58) and points (4.17) per set.
