Martinez finished with 18 kills to go along with eight digs, a solo stuff and an ace in the sweep of CSUN to lead the Gauchos to their first win of the undefeated weekend. The outside hitter from Katy, Texas, finished the match with 6.67 points per set. The Gauchos currently sit in sole possession of fourth place in The Big West standings as UCSB looks to return to the bracket for The Hawaiian Islands presents the 2025 Outrigger Big West Women’s Volleyball Championship.
