High School Village Christian School UC Irvine senior Campbell Jensen helped the Anteaters to a pair of sweeps to claim Big West Defensive Player of the Week. This is Jensen’s second career nod, also securing honors once last season (Oct. 21, 2024). Jensen averaged 5.67 digs per set, popping up 17 digs in each match as UCI swept Hawaii at home and Cal State Fullerton on the road. The Anteater defense limited UH to -.041 hitting and the Titans to .000 in the effective week. The libero also had four set assists in UCI’s fourth-ever win over the Rainbow Wahine and a pair versus the Titans. Currently, Jensen ranks second in The Big West with a 4.42 digs per set average and stands in fourth among active NCAA Division I players in career digs with 1,741.
