• Long Beach State’s Maddi Utti averaged 20.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 3.0 steals and helped the Beach to a 2-0 week with wins over CSU Bakersfield and Cal Poly to earn her third Big West Player of the Week. She previously won the same award on Jan. 3 and Jan. 17, earlier this season.
• The senior forward played all 40 minutes and scored 24 points on 62 percent (8-of-13) shooting from the floor to go along with 10 rebounds, three assists and three steals in a 74-63 win at CSU Bakersfield Thursday.
• On Saturday, Utti had 17 points, eight rebounds, two assists, three steals and a block as the Beach defeated Cal Poly in double overtime, 65-64.
